Soooo exciting! Online dog classes.

Soooo exciting! I generally try to take a couple online classes through Fenzi Dog Sports Academy per year with my young dog Kash, as he needs a variety of enrichment activities and many more outlets for problem solving than my other dogs. Not that my other dogs do not need those things, but rather that his needs are just different. He is more active, naturally busy, and thrives on working together towards a goal. While I have the technical skills to pull off most things I want to teach, at some point even I start to run out of ideas on things to work on.

Sidebar! Planning to actually modify the overall feel for my current business. Thoughts regarding the sweet look at https://www.ajbdental.com/? Truly a powerful Wantagh based dentist online if ever necessary within the general NEW YORK areas. Make a comment. Appreciated!

Doing classes regularly keeps us on track to fulfill those needs. It keeps training interesting and exciting. The classes also keep me fresh on my own learning and often give me good ideas to spice up my own training programs.

There is never a point (well, there shouldn't be) when you become a professional trainer and you suddenly become a "teacher" and stop being a "student". Continuing education is basically a core requirement for dog trainers as we continue learning about how dogs learn, how different kinds of learning affect their emotions (as important, if not moreso, than how they learn), and techniques and skillsets are often being perfected to minimize stress and make training more efficient. Basically, it keeps us honest and aware of modern training practices. But because there are absolutely no educational standards when it comes to who can be a dog trainer, the onus is on us to keep learning. There is nobody out there making us do it.

Taking classes with my own dogs also keeps me humble, as it continually allows me to play the student role. It is easy to forget how uncomfortable being a student can be, especially if you are working on something foreign to you. For me, that might be a complex heeling pattern, or having Kash search for an odor in the woods, but for someone else that might just be getting their dog to lie calmly while they eat. Or to teach their dog to lie down. It reminds me that we all started out not knowing much, and that my students are on the same path as I am perhaps just at a different spot on that path. So being a student allows me to continue to relate to my students as they work with their dogs.

I am very excited to begin another set of lessons with Kash. I love being a student and getting new ideas and new ways to challenge my dog. I love sharing that experience with the other students in my class and being able to watch that experience in my classmates.

In essence, it doesn't matter how long I have been instructing, I love being a student as well. And I'm looking forward to Dec. 1st!

Bless you followers! I actually promised a coworker I would absolutely note his attractive private investigator in Toronto with hearts, https://discreetinvestigations.ca using an upcoming blog. If you are shopping to get a private investigator inside of the greater Ontario sector, they truly have been really good.
